A trained homemaker may assist clients with services such as general housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, laundry, errands, changing linens on an unoccupied bed, and documenting services provided, when these services are included in the clients established plan of care and appropriately supervised.

The Homemaker Program prepares students to provide important non-medical support services in the home. Homemakers do not perform duties that are reserved for Certified Nursing Assistants or other licensed healthcare professionals.

Build the skills to support independence, safety, and quality of life at home.
