CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) TRAINING

Once you complete the application and you are accepted into the program, you will be invited to join a class

You will be held responsible for the following documents that are requested by Your Choice of Training School. Valid form of ID, Social Security Card, Background Criminal Check(BCI) and Vaccine Record.

CPR certification at the Healthcare Provider Level must be completed before the clinical portion of the program with the American Heart Association. This part will be offered at Your Choice of Training School.

Upon successful completion of the CNA course, the application will be send to the RI Department of Health and CCRI to schedule you to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP®) test.

Time Commitment
150 hours

 Includes 60 classroom hours, 40 hours of skill instruction, 40 hours of clinical training in a nursing facility.

At the end of the training students have the opportunity to practice the skills for 2 week Monday – Friday from 9-2 pm.  Instructors are available to help students during this time.
